Zonta COVID kits will be distributed Monday

From staff reports

The Oil City-Franklin Zonta Club and Family Service and Children’s Aid Society will distribute COVID CARES kits from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday at the Oil City, Franklin and Cooperstown libraries.

The women’s service organization has been collecting items to help families cope with pandemic-related health directives in preparation for returning to school.

Each kit will contain a water bottle, bottle of hand sanitizer, a package of tissues, a pack of hand wipes, a facial mask and, depending on available supplies, a thermometer.

No advance registration is required. The kits will be distributed until supplies are depleted on a first come, first serve basis to Venango County residents only.

Grant funds for the kits have been provided by Venango County CARES Funds and Bridge Builders Community Foundations. Public donations were also given to the project.
