Weather-related crashes reported in area

Over Christmas Eve and Christmas Day several vehicles were involved in weather-related incidents in Venango and Clarion counties.

A Venango County 911 dispatcher said over the course of Christmas Day there were about five incidents of vehicles in ditches or disabled vehicles across the county.

The 911 dispatcher added that she didn’t have information about if there were any crashes Thursday evening.

In Clarion County one vehicle went into a ditch on Miola Road near Route 36 at about 1:30 p.m. Friday, Clarion County 911 said.

Marienville state police, Farmington Township Fire Department and Clarion Hospital Ambulance responded to the scene.

On Thursday one vehicle was involved in a crash on Seven Hills Road in Clarion Township at about 10:40 p.m., Clarion 911 said.

Clarion state police, Strattenville Volunteer Fire Department, Millcreek Volunteer Fire Department and Clarion Hospital Ambulance responded to the scene.

Also on Thursday at about 11:30 p.m. one vehicle was involved in a crash near mile marker 45 on Interstate 80, Clarion County 911 said.

State police, Emlenton Volunteer Fire Department and Emlenton Ambulance responded to the scene.
