Tech center seniors sign letters of intent with businesses

Students, families, and employers gathered last week at Venango Technology Center for a letter of intent signing at the school.

Thirteen tech center seniors have signed on to work with local employers after graduation.

“We are trying to get recognition of students going into the workforce,” said Bob Moore, the center’s cooperative education coordinator. “We hope to do this every year.”

Rocky Grove senior Tyler Heller and Cranberry senior Joe Datko have been hired by Allegheny Toyota.

Titusville senior Madison Jack intends to work at Titusville Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center after graduation, and Braden Custer of West Forest will join the Vanderhoof Heating and Air Conditioning team.

Roser Technologies Inc has hired David Struchen from Titusville, and Draven Chapel of Oil City has been hired by Swartfager Welding.

Cranberry seniors Jacob Dyess and Dakota Woolcock will join Schake Industries, and Myers Custom Woodworks has recruited Gunner Crawford of Franklin.

Blazer Myers of Franklin has been hired by Billy’s Garage, and Haden Abel of Rocky Grove will come on board the team at Shaw Industries.

Welders Cael Zeigler of Franklin and Nevin Kratzer of Cranberry have been hired by Specialty Fabrication and Power Coating, and Oakland Products.
