Man accused of lewdness in front of juvenile co-worker

From staff reports

A Strattanville man is facing charges after he was accused of performing a lewd act in front of co-worker.

According to a criminal complaint filed with District Judge Duane L. Quinn’s office, Kyle Gary Fye, 32, was performing an inappropriate act in the presence of a female juvenile co-worker at a Clarion Township business.

The victim, the complaint said, went to the state police barracks in Clarion on Jan. 24 to report the incident.

According to the complaint, the victim told a trooper that on Jan. 21 she and Fye had arrived to work early, and while they were waiting for their shift to begin the pair went into the break room.

The victim told the trooper that she felt uncomfortable around Fye, who had called her and other juvenile victims “jail bait,” according to the complaint.

The victim told police she was playing on her phone when she noticed Fye committing the lewd act, and she became alarmed and left the room, according to the complaint.

The following charges were filed against Fye: corruption of minors, a first-degree misdemeanor; and open lewdness, a misdemeanor of the third degree.

A preliminary arraignment is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 6, with Quinn presiding.
